Great U14 Schools Tournament

We had a great time in the sun today at the Under 14 Schools Tournament at Aylesbury RFC.

There were 10 schools involved with over a hundred girls having fun and playing some great Rugby.

Getting more girls playing Rugby and benefiting from all it can offer is really important to us, so we were so pleased to see so many smiling faces on the pitches today. Some great memories were made.

We would like to give a heartfelt thanks to all of the girls who came along and played. You were an inspiration to watch.

We also really want to thank all of the teachers who put in the hard work getting the Rugby clubs up and running in your schools and bringing them along to events like today. We know it is not easy and everything you do is really appreciated.

Thanks to Buckinghamshire RFU for sending along some of the girls DPP coaches to support the event.

Lastly, we would like to thank all the refs that gave up there time and came along to allow the matches to be played. A special shout out to Next Phase Academy for providing three of the refs. You all did a great job and we thank you for supporting girls rugby.

We plan on having lots more events next season and we hope to see everyone again soon along with some new schools and new faces.
